Castles

Never fear a life that boasts

For feet swept way above,

The fairytale that wrote itself;

A story filled with love.

We float beyond the novelty,

To gain a closer look;

It’s obvious heart-warming myths,

Belong inside a book.

Insist, do you?

For romance true,

Yet here we stand and wait;

For endings that live happily,

Within our scorn mind-state.

Let’s play pretend in ecstasy that

Things aren’t what they seem;

The frogs will kiss thy perfect lips,

To wake you from this dream.
